NEW ALBUM LEAKED!

decided after holding out for a day that i couldnt take it much longer and downloaded. haha the album is awesome! think i'm hearing a bit of Mark Hoppus at the end of 47 aswell. and also... the bit at the end of the choruses that goes "I called, 46 times" isnt Jordan or Chad? anyone have any idea who it is?

You guys are acting like the Coming Home era was 10 years ago haha. We just ended it but it is still pretty current in the scheme of things. I do love that feeling of waiting for a CD and listening to it straight through but I'm afraid those days are gone. Pretty much every CD these days leak and I do not have the will power to not download it. However I have never and will never download a CD and not buy it. I downloaded this last night despite feeling guilty as fuck but I only listened to the first 6 songs this way I can still be excited for the other half when it's released.

In all fairness,the Coming Home days ended about 4 months after its release.Geffen didn't give a shit about it :/

On the song 47 its actually a mix of me and Jordan. Im screaming more or less and jordan is yelling in his voice. "i called 46 times!" . The combo of our voices makes it hard to tell exactly who is singing but i think it makes it sound different in a good way. There is no Hoppus though. We love us some mark but we wanted to make this record 100% NFG with no guests. In the past we have had lots of guests on our cd's but this one we felt needed to just be us.

As far as the leaking thing. If my favorite bands cd came out early online i would download it to. For instance the new Morrissey record. I dont think it comes out for another 2 weeks and i've had it for like 3 weeks now. I will still buy it though because when i love a band or singer i gotta have the album artwork. It is a bumm out that some of the anticipation is lost. the whole building up to release date loses a bit of its excitement but to be honest the fans that would go out of their way to download it are the true fans that go out of their way to buy merch and post online about how much they like it and are the ones that will know the words first and sing every song at the show. You are driven to get it because you like NFG so how can I be bummed at that! So to all that have it. Spread the word if you like it and get people to go pick it up when it comes out! Not even for our sake but for epitaphs to. They are so passionate about NFG and our fans. They are true music lovers and they try to always put together cool and fun stuff for fans of this genre of music.

Yeah, it would definitely be a downer with your CD leaking, but that's the way it is these days. In a way, you can't avoid it. The new album is insane, I listened to it 15 times in the first 24 hours haha. I'm living in halls at uni and the whole floor (18 people) is hearing except this album since me and my friend are having it on full volume all the time

The new record is good. I'm liking a ton of these songs. I can't wait to pre order the LP off Bridge 9 records. I hope they have the digital download card with it because I think thats a neat perk to include. I think my favorite songs off it are "Don't Let Her Pull You Down" and "Tangled Up"

Thanks for being so honest Chad. I pre-ordered this baby the day it went up on Kings Road, and I was dying for some uplifting jams to get out of the winter mood. NWAF delivered completely. You guys are in top form and I hope despite the leak everyone goes out and gets a copy or two to blast this in high quality like NFG deserves to be.
