First Show of 09'
Last night NFG played our first show in 2009! It was nice to be back out and playing. We played at some arena in Ft. Meyers, Florida with Panic at the Disco for some college event. The whole floor had seats which sucked but somehow even with the seats the show was fun and still had tons of energy. There was a couple sneaky crowd surfers but that didn't last very long. I guess the school wanted seats incase of a college kid getting hurt and lawsuits and poop like that. Im psyched for the Not without a fight tour where we can play a general admission show in our home state. Speaking of home state. Check out this shirt design. Total Florida pride! Alligators and Oranges. All its missing is old people. We might have it on tour or maybe as an exclusive for just the webstore. We are still planning that out but i wanted to show it to you all.

I will buy one at the Seattle Show or from the site. Actually whats funny is before I read your blog I was thinking I would try to make my own shirt with that design if the quality was good enough to blow up. Speaking of the Seattle Show good looking out a few years ago with the no set list request show at El Corazon. Both shows that year were fun, but the one with no set list was one of the best show I have ever been to.

I can't wait for the Not Without A Fight Tour. It is easy to tell that you guys wrote these songs with the live shows in mind.

I drove from Weston to just to see them also and i know how you feel about singing along to "listen to your friends" unfortunatly i think both of us were the only ones who could sing along to the entire setlist.
What really sucks is that most of the kids there were waiting to see panic at the disco , which eally proves that they dont know good music.

I didnt stay for Panic either, fuck that shit dude.
I just got my revolution tickets 2 days ago.
I'm down for goin to O-town, I was planning on it with some of my other boys.
I drove to jax and tally to see the Easy -Core tour shows..they were fucking insane expecially Tallahassee at the Beta Bar dude.

I'm from Tasmania and will be making the 4000km trek to see you guys in Brisbane for the Soundwave Festival (all of the other shows are on weekdays... and couldn't get time off work!!). This is going to be awesome! And sorry, I have the leaked album (LOVING IT) but will be buying it... I respect and love you guys way too much!

Definitely will buy one of these if you put it up on the store or have it in Charlotte. An old friend/acquaintance of mine designed this and he is awesome.

i was so stoked to be at the first ever show of 2009 and the first show you ever played that song.
i'll be seeing you guys in orlando and ft. lauderdale and hopefully my boss can set up an interview for me with you guys.

I actually live in Weston! and yeah when i heard they were opening for.. that, i was bummed out. and i swear the girls sitting next to me thought i was crazy when I attempted crowd surfing seats. haha.
i didnt stay for panic but im roadtripping to orlando then back down to revolution for the new tour if your down!

thats crazy.. i did the same thing. i was at beta bar. it was the most intimate setting i'd ever seen them in.
house of blues in orlando is a great venue. ive interviewed flogging molly there and im trying to get it for them as well. we'll see what happens.
